Frankland Estate is a family owned and operated premium, certified organic winemaker located in the isolated Frankland River region. Frankland Estate was established in 1988 and today produces a small range of premium wines for Australian and major export markets. Winemaking philosophy centres on making wines that offer an authentic expression of both varietal character and the distinctive features of the natural environment in which they were grown. To this end meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of grape growing and winemaking is combined with a minimal intervention approach in the handling of grapes, juice and wine. This results in complex, well-balanced wines that combine subtle elegance with a distinctive sense of place.
